The pakora brothers

The Pakora Bar is run by 3 brothers, using their mother’s recipes, offering a fusion of traditional and contemporary flavours inspired by Punjabi cuisine. With a focus on community and personal touch, the family invests their heart and soul into the business.

We serve moreish pakora, and Punjabi street food. The Pakora Bar has built a loyal local fanbase since opening. In addition to our array of vegan options, regulars rave about the Scottish specialities our famous haggis pakora & many more. 

Mixed pakoras

Our famous Pakoras are a must-try when you first visit us. From haggis to cauliflower, coated in our family recipe of spices and herbs, deep-fried to perfection.

Veg samosa ChaAt

Handmade pastry filled with a selection of fresh vegetables, herbs & spices. Meat options also available. 

Paneer Kathi roll

Panner (Indian Cheese) is marinated in herbs and spices, served on a crispy Paratha and garnished with Chaat.

Butter Chicken curry

Similar to chicken tikka masala, butter chicken is one of the most popular curries in Punjab.

OUR NEW HOME

Located in the heart of Edinburgh, our new home can hold up to 140 guests. Our special addition to the mix is our stunning mezzanine – which we have named “The Pakora Garden” This is available to hire for private functions. Roll on the summer days and making the most out of our outside seating area.
